Sardar Hussain has been awarded National Award for craftsmanship and Shilp Guru in 2003 by the Government of India, thus marking his outstanding contribution to crafts.

His sons - Arshad Hussain, who has also been awarded the National Award for craftsmanship and Azhar Kamal help in managing the workshop & marketing products.

These products are produced at their workshop and were retailed at the Nature Bazaar 2009 in November.
